God is doing exciting things in the village churches these days! New churches are being born, and new preaching points are being started almost faster than we can keep up with them. There are now nineteen churches and seven preaching points. These new preaching points are being started by current churches, which have caught a real evangelical fire! CLUSTER STRATEGY... It is so exciting to watch the older churches as they take the initiative to plant new ones! We have organized the churches into five different "clusters", so that the older ones can work together and be more effective in starting preaching points and helping the younger churches to mature. The church leaders have seemed to really take to this vision, and we have shifted our strategy to fit this paradigm. Now, Jay and Nick don't spend as much time starting new churches and working with one church at a time. Rather, they will work with the leaders and evangelists in each cluster, training them to do the work of evangelism and nurturing that is needed for the new churches and preaching points that the Ugandan churches have started. Please keep these churches and the new preaching points in your prayers! Take a moment and pray for the churches and villages that are listed below. Even if you don't know how to pronounce the names, don't worry - God's word assures us that the Holy Spirit will "translate" and bring before the Lord whatever we cannot express, even if we don't know what to pray for.
