On April 1 and April 8 2006, the Mbarara town church has special days of teaching and fellowship for the women and men of the church. Talking about the Women's Day, Amy Naramore Reports, "The women of our church (plus 7 visitors) had a very encouraging day together. It was filled with activities such as tea time, games, lessons, group discussions, lunch, praise and worship, testimonies, and prayer time. It was a beautiful day to be together."

The Men's day on April 8 was also a great day! Nick Fouts shared lessons on "Spiritual Transformation"; the lessons, the group activities, and the small group discussions were all wonderful. It fit very well with the theme of "discipleship" that MCC is really being challenged with this year. These Men's and Women's Days have become a real blessing to the members of the town church, as they build one another up with the word, prayer, and fellowship.
