CALLING ALL CHURCHES! Each year in May all of the Ankole Churches of Christ come together for a day of worship and fellowship. Most of the village churches are not able to send all of their members due to transportation issues, but we are always pleasantly surprised at how high a percentage are able to come represent their respective churches. This year was no different - more than 400 adults attended the meeting on Sunday, May 7.

It was truly a great day. These Christians love to worship, and even more so when they all get together! Two different men (one from a village church, one from town) gave encouraging and inspiring messages, and it was a high point to see all of these interconnected "bodies" taking communion together. After worship everyone ate lunch and people were invited over to the construction site to see how the new town building was going up. Perhaps the best part of the day for the missionaries was that the whole thing was planned and led by one of the church clusters, so we were blessed to just sit back and watch it all with a smile!

We praise God for the movement of churches He is growing here among the Ankole!

More than 400 adults were packed into the hall we rented for the meeting!
